John and his team (primarily Richard) recently restored our 1985 Volkswagen Westfalia. The restoration included engine replacement, fuel system, brakes and related mechanical and electrical components, and required specialized knowledge and resourceful acquisition of parts. Throughout the process, John kept us informed of repair options, costs and progress. Completion required patience on both sides (due mainly to difficulties in sourcing parts), but the final product was worth the wait. Richard's expertise and resourcefulness amazed us, and we were so happy to find him after much fruitless searching for a mechanic with skills and experience related to our vintage vehicle. John's honesty, integrity, knowledge, thoroughness and pride in his business were evident to us from the start and contributed to a great customer experience for my wife and me. He was very courteous and allowed me keep the Sentra at his lot while I made a decision and allowed me to take my time in deciding what I wanted to do.
