I took my 2008 Toyota 4Runner in with transmission issues. I was totally prepared to be told I needed a new transmission. John said it might not be transmission, and spent some time evaluating the problem, then said he was 90% sure it was transmission. He recommended a much simpler and less expensive "treatment" that he gave a 50/50 chance of fixing the problem. He wanted me to drive the car for 100 miles or so to see how it performed. 150 miles later, it is perfect! How long this fix will last is anyone's guess, I suppose, but I am so appreciative that he didn't just say, "oh, yeah, you need a new transmission," which I would totally have believed. ACC has been servicing my cars for 15 years, and I have always found them to be reliable and honest.

I recently took my 1986 restored Dodge truck to Atlanta Car Care to have the shock absorbers replaced, checked for squeaks and rattles, alignment of headlights and attempt to restore a dented front bumper. The installment of the shock absorbers went smoothly.The squeak and rattle situation was soothed. John [owner of Atlanta car care] took it upon himself to do one quality job of removing the dent from the bumper. When it came to the alignment of the headlights, it was discovered a part to connect the left headlight frame to body of the truck was missing the part that attaches the headlight frame to the body of the truck. John is still on an ongoing hunt to locate the needed part for such an older truck and commented, we will figure out something. To show what an outstanding business owner and goodwill ambassador JOhn Spilane is, he wouldn't even charge me for the time an effort to reaserch and determine the left headlight problem.
